The refreshed Genesis GV60 reaches the Israeli market as a substantial update rather than a simple cosmetic change. The battery grows to 84 kWh, the maximum official range rises to 561 km, and the entry price is significantly lower than before. The model remains a compact premium electric crossover, but the new pricing places it closer to a broader group of well-equipped electric SUVs.

Key facts

  • 84 kWh battery and up to 561 km WLTP range in the rear-wheel-drive version.
  • 800-volt system: 10–80% DC charging is quoted at about 18 minutes on a suitable charger.
  • Rear-wheel drive with 228 hp or all-wheel drive with 318 hp; prices start at ₪299,990.

What changed and why it matters

Inside, the two previous displays are replaced by a wide 27-inch integrated screen, while facial recognition, fingerprint start, a 360-degree camera and higher-grade comfort equipment remain part of the technology-focused character. The rear-wheel-drive version prioritises range; the dual-motor version provides stronger performance and all-wheel drive.

Charging and everyday use

Its 800-volt architecture is especially relevant to drivers who regularly use inter-city fast chargers. A quoted 18-minute 10–80% session is only possible when the battery temperature, state of charge and charger power are suitable. At home, the 11 kW AC limit is a good match for a three-phase wallbox, provided the building supply and load management allow it.

What to check before ordering

Before ordering, compare the exact trim, wheel size and drivetrain because they affect both range and price. For a private parking space, check whether 11 kW three-phase charging is available or whether a lower current setting is more appropriate for the electrical panel.
